Audiogrills fabric characteristics
Audiogrills AP fabric combines 5 characteristics that make it special:- Acoustic properties: The woven structure creates a very fine grid of miniature holes that allow the music to pass through the fabric. The holes are almost indetectable when the material is printed, but can be seen when you look at the material closely.
- Graphic properties: The AP material bonds very well ink used in the printing process. This ensures your print will remain vibrant for a very long time. And that's why you get a 10 year guarantee on the quality of the print.
- Tensile properties: The AP fabric is slightly elastic. This is very important as the fabric needs to be tensioned. Without tensioning the fabric would be loose and would ruin the music by moving back and forth as the music plays. The Audiogrills AP fabric has just enough elasticity to be taut, yet doesn't stretch to the extent that images would be distorted.
- Fire safety properties: The AP fabric complies with high fire safety standards. It has the US NFPA701, the German DIN 4102B1 and the French M1 fire safety certification.
